FIXED:  Google Search Console  Preferred Domain Issue

The issue "part of the process of setting a preferred domain is to verify that you own..." appears when you tried to set your preferred domain for your site www and non www. To make the issue disappear and finally choose your preferred domain follow this quick fix to save time and finally resolved the issue on your google search console.

1. Login to Google Search Console
https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/
Dashboard > Click the Gear icon drop down > and choose Site Settings

2. Test the domains
here is the screenshot of the issue if you try to link your www and non www domain

3. Fix the issue
Go to Search Console home
Add Property > add your non www site domain , it will automatically gets verified

4. Choose Preferred Domain
Choose your site > go to site settings , check if its your www or non www site is selected then select your preferred domain (in my demo its my non www site) . Click save and your all set.

Do the same process for your other domains that will face the same issue.
